Newborn photography requires more than beautiful styling and camera knowledge—it requires patience, preparation, safe practices, and the ability to confidently respond to each baby’s individual needs.


My newborn mentorships provide an honest, behind-the-scenes look at my process, from preparing the studio and settling baby to posing, photographing, and editing a complete gallery. Whether you’re just beginning or hoping to refine a specific part of your workflow, mentorships can be customized around the areas where you need the most support.



All live newborn sessions are baby-led, and the baby’s safety and comfort will always come first. Because every baby is different, specific poses, setups, or images cannot be guaranteed.

Learn with Me


I have specialized in newborn photography for more than six years, but my education began long before I welcomed my first newborn into the studio. For nearly a decade, I have invested in online newborn photography education from educators such as Hello Little Education, Jessica J Education, and The Milky Way Education.


I have also had the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the field through hands-on mentorships and workshops with Dawn Potter Photography, Carmen Peralta Photography, and Johna Mussara of Three J’s Photography. These experiences helped shape the calm, safety-focused, and baby-led approach I use in every session.


Now, I’m excited to share the knowledge and experience I have gained with other photographers. My mentorships are designed to offer honest, practical guidance in a welcoming environment—whether you are just beginning your newborn photography journey or hoping to strengthen a specific area of your work.

Session Shadow

Observe a real newborn session from beginning to end and gain an honest, behind-the-scenes look at my complete workflow. This mentorship is observation-only and does not include hands-on posing or photographing the baby.

Wrapping & Posing Mentoring

$450+ tax



Build confidence in creating secure, comfortable wraps and safely transitioning through newborn poses. This hands-on workshop can be customized around the areas where you need the most practice, whether it's criss cross, toes peeking, or potato wrap.

Editing Mentorship

$350 + tax


Follow along as I walk you through my newborn editing process from beginning to end. We can work with my images or your own portfolio while focusing on the areas where you need the most help. This workshop is available in person or virtually.


WHAT’S COVERED

• Culling and organizing a newborn gallery in Lightroom

• Creating consistent white balance and skin tones

• Correcting redness, jaundice, and uneven coloring

• Retouching newborn skin while maintaining texture

• Smoothing and removing items in backdrops

• My Lightroom and Photoshop workflow including brushes & actions

• Preparing images for galleries, print, and social media

The Complete Newborn Mentorship

$1250+ tax



A personalized, full-day mentorship designed to provide an in-depth look at the complete newborn photography experience. We will combine a live newborn session with hands-on instruction, guided shooting and posing time, editing, and open conversation about your workflow and business.

APPROXIMATE DURATION

5-6 hours, depending on the baby and session


This mentorship may be booked privately or shared with one other photographer at a 1:2 mentor-to-student ratio. When attending together, the total investment may be split between the two photographers.
