A Sweet New Adventure: Introducing Shutter & Sugar

Most of you know me as the person behind the camera at Anna Carreno Photography, but today I’m sharing something a little different—and a little sweeter!

This summer, my daughter and I started Shutter & Sugar, a small treat business creating custom cake pops, chocolate-covered treats like Oreos, pretzels, and Rice Krispie treats! What began as a fun way to spend time together has grown into an opportunity to create, learn, and share something we love with our community.

As a photographer, I love capturing the details that make a celebration special. With Shutter & Sugar, we get to help create some of those details! From choosing colors to coordinating treats with a party theme, we love making something that feels personal to your celebration.

Custom Treats for Your Celebrations

We welcome custom inquiries for birthdays, baby showers, weddings, school celebrations, staff appreciation, corporate events, and more. Whether you’re planning a dessert table or looking for individually wrapped party favors, we’d love to hear what you have in mind.

We’ll also offer seasonal treats and holiday preorders—perfect for gifting, sharing, or adding something sweet to your family traditions.

Made with My Daughter, Shared with Our Community

The most meaningful part of this adventure is getting to build it alongside my daughter. It’s a chance for us to spend time together, explore our creativity, and learn the ins and outs of running a small business as a team.

We’re excited to serve families and businesses in Spring, The Woodlands, Magnolia, and the surrounding areas. If you’ve supported my photography business over the years, thank you for cheering us on as we begin this new chapter, too.

Planning a celebration? Contact Shutter & Sugar to ask about custom cake pops, chocolate-covered Oreos, and upcoming seasonal treats. We’d love to make your next occasion a little sweeter. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook!
